In July, Downtown Van hosted it’s very first influencer tour.
Let’s take a closer look at the incredible businesses that participated in our first ever tour.
Grimson & Sons
Our first stop on the tour was Grimson & Sons, Vancouver’s oldest original manufacturer of fine jewelry since 1945. Located in the historical Rogers Building, they create handmade, bespoke jewelry and offering trusted, quality repairs for your priceless heirloom pieces and one-of-a-kind jewelry.
As we toured their atelier and workshop, it was fascinating to observe the intricate processes behind each creation. From the selection of high-quality materials to the fine finishing touches, every step exemplified the dedication and artistry that define Grimson & Sons. We also got to check out their store, a showcase of their finest works.
You can visit Grimson & Sons at 470 Granville St, or check them out on Instagram.
Beaucoup Bakery
Next on our tour was Beaucoup Bakery, a charming café renowned for its delectable French-inspired pastries. We sampled their limited-time summer drink, the Iced Mango Jasmine Creamsicle, a refreshing blend of mango juice and jasmine white chocolate that perfectly captures the essence of summer. We also indulged in a variety of delicious ice cream sandwiches. The bakery’s warm and inviting atmosphere provided the perfect setting to unwind and savour these delightful treats.

Coach Burrard
Our final stop was the Coach flagship location on Burrard Street, where we explored their exclusive craftsmanship bar—one of just three in Canada—and enjoyed a unique customization experience. Coach is celebrated for its dedication to luxury and style, and their craftsmanship bar provided an in-depth look at the artistry behind their products. The creators had the opportunity to customize their own wristlets, choosing from a selection of colours, custom pins as well as a custom embossed hangtag. This hands-on experience not only highlighted Coach’s commitment to quality but also allowed us to appreciate the level of skill involved in each creation. The ability to add their own flair to the design made the experience even more memorable for these creators.

Looking Ahead
By showcasing the craftsmanship of Grimson & Sons, the delectable treats from Beaucoup Bakery, and the artistry of Coach, we saw firsthand how influencers can significantly amplify a brand or small business’ reach and impact. For Downtown Van member businesses, participating in influencer tours offers a strategic advantage for gaining visibility and connecting with potential customers. These tours provide a cost-effective way to build a robust online presence and engage with a broader audience, highlighting what makes your business unique and memorable.
With more tours planned for the coming months, we’re eager to help showcase the best of downtown Vancouver and to make our city a top destination for locals and visitors alike.
