Granville Block Party Returns to Downtown Van!

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable weekend of eclectic music, vibrant community activities, and endless fun, happening at the intersection of Granville and Robson.

What: Granville Block Party is a free two-day street party in the heart of the Granville Entertainment District with live music, street performers, family-friendly entertainment, and more!

Presented by Granville Block Party, Van Vogue Jam will be hosting JUST BRING IT! Mini Kiki Ball on August 25th from 2:30 – 3:30 PM.

As a competition upheld by the culture originating from the 60’s pageant scene pioneered by the Black and Latino Trans Women in New York City, a ball consists of many different categories ranging from Performance, Fashion and Vanity. Walkers will present to the judges to get their 10s and battle each other out for the CASH! All categories are OTA (Open-to-All).
